About Tristan Reno
Inspiration
Growing up a military child I was able to live under a variety of economies and expereince both the highs and lows of status and class. From a young age the urban street experience would begin to form my identity. I would later come to focus of my own subjects on the experience of the marginalized communities in North America.
My Art
At a time art resources where not affordable to me so what ever I could find or get my hands on determined the product. Every project was different from medium, size, and subject, to color. I now use the same practices following a plan and research staying true to natural limitations. I believe the process of creating and experiencing art to be more rewarding than the product. This is ultimately why I use a variety of mediums.
Background
The skateboard culture always provided me with many creative opportunities in the arts. My passion for art began with graffiti, fashion, and street art. I was later able to refine my craft in are and creativity while earning a Bachelors in Fine Art. With a Masters in Teaching I continue to craft my own skill and educate others in art.
